From a collection of bespoke saris, tunics and cholis, this 2-piece set balances soothing colors with an explosive tie dye pattern, which is commonly worn in India during the monsoons. No matter: vast expanses of sequins and the magnificent crystal hip brooch reflect enough light to brighten the rainiest day. Traditional uttariya (veil) doubles as a shoulder wrap.

Short sleeved tunic with sari-style surplice front, hip high slits each side, and 19” front center slit; V-neck front and square back. Right front surplice panel, sleeves and entire back of garment covered with rose gold pavé micro-sequins; left front surplice panel of tie dyed silk. Left front hip features 5” x 2 ½” fixed crystal brooch with matching dangling pavé crystal sphere; pullover construction with no closures of any kind. Matching wrap veil of tie dye silk with French blue rosette sequin motif at edges. Both pieces fully lined in matching silk.
