Called a “sculptor of fabric,” Manhattan designer Jo Copeland created refined clothes that added a dose of American practicality to the highly sophisticated European fashion of postwar France. Side metal zipper closure with two hooks and eyes at waistband tab and two snaps to join tiered lace overlay. Hemline circumference backed with 5” horsehair band to maintain fullness without foundations; unlined.
