Broad shouldered, narrow waisted US Navy cadet jacket of heavyweight Melton wool. Jacket features standing band collar with gold bouillon piping; matching piping at left forearm. Double breasted construction with one fully-working and one ornamental row of gold military buttons down front center of jacket; 3 matching ornamental buttons at each wrist. Industrial hook latch at throat and hook and eye at interior waist; interior breast pocket and leather band around waist interior. Fully lined, padded body; arms unlined. Issued to “DE Karman,” 1953.
