1960s rumpelstilzchen mink cuff bolero, s
In our version, the poor miller’s daughter can spin her own gold and she skins Rumpelstiltskin for the cuffs.
Collarless ¾ sleeve jacket of basket weave gold lurex and 3 ½” black mink cuffs; hook and eye closure at throat. Fully lined in peach acetate.
fabric: lurex, acetate, mink
noteworthy: professionally fur clean cuffs, dry clean jacket
alterations: none
condition: very good with multiple areas of worn lurex that reveal gold interliner below (see photo). As interliner is identical in color and texture to woven outer, these areas are extremely discrete and visible only under close inspection. Age-appropriate wear to lining.
measurements:
shoulders: 17 ½” (6 ½” neckline opening when closed)
sleeve: 16” including 3 ½” mink cuffs
sleeve circumference: 14 ½”
bust: 44” when closed
sweep: 36” when closed
label: Boutique Knits (made in California)
size: no size tag present; comparable to modern size small
