1960s "hitchcock blonde" satin ball gown, s-m

A gown of thoroughbred good taste, this dress belongs on a woman with perfect posture, square shoulders and icy patrician beauty.  Perfect for a recreation of the ballroom scene in “To Catch a Thief.” Cary Grant not included in purchase.

Sleeveless floor-length ball gown with sequined lattice straps and hand-beaded floral motif cummerbund; massive gathered skirt with inverted front pleat at waistline.  Rear metal zipper closure with hook and loop at mid-back and zipper top; three-panel split tulle crinoline beneath skirt.  Bodice self lined but skirt is unlined beneath crinoline.

noteworthy: dry clean only
alterations: repaired two tears in crinoline lining
condition: near mint with above mentioned repairs (invisible when worn) and one faint 1 cm spot on right rear hip (see photo). Spot well concealed by ample skirt gathering.
