1950s mariinsky prom + wedding dress, xs

No one wants to be predictable, so why not throw a little Hell-bent red into your virginal white dress?  The silver embroidery says "Russian ballet," but the red screams “charm school dropout.”  A lovely exercise in contradictions that would also make a precious tea-length wedding gown by simply removing the red fringe.

Strapless sweetheart prom dress with shelf bodice and split front triple-layer tulle skirt; flexible boning in front and back princess bodice seams.  Silver metallic filigree embroidery around full circumference of shelf bodice and down skirt split, plus red tulle fringe detail along bustline and around skirt bottom.  Side metal zipper closure with top hook and eye; fully lined in ivory taffeta.
