1950s frou frou strapless lace prom dress, s

Though born in the 1950s, this dress would have been equally at home in the courts of 18th century France: a massive split back skirt reveals tiers of ruffles worthy of Madame Pompadour. Opera length gloves required; powdered wig optional.

Strapless prom dress of soft pink taffeta and light blue lace overlay; double crinoline for extreme fullness. Upper crinoline features rear horizontal ruffles exposed by a split back skirt; matching tulle ruffles at bust and hem. 7-panel flexible boned bodice; rear metal zipper closure with top and waist snap. Hanging loops; fully lined in pink taffeta.
