1930s claudette faux + fox jacket, xs

Exactly like something Mme. Colbert might have slipped on between takes while filming one of her more notorious nude scenes.  (As long as she was filmed from the left side, that is.)

Black crushed faux fur jacket with real brown fox collar; blousing leg-o-mutton sleeves and rounded lapel edges.  Single frog closure at waist and fur hook closure at throat (appears to have been added later); fully lined in black muslin.

alterations: reinforced lining seams where strained
condition:  excellent with above repair, age-appropriate wear to lining, and light balding at each shoulder (see photo); well-hidden by fabric loft.
